This was one of the recent projects I took up. It required me to design a wedding invitation.
As with any other project, I had a brainstorming session with him, and came up with a concept (after several attempts).

As requested, I kept it stylized. The client did want it to have some more ethnicity, and gave some suggestions on what he wanted.

After it was given a green signal, I imported the concept sketch into Inkscape and then converted it to illustration. I used the cel-style shading, but still kept it in the vector format.

I kept it in vector format since it would be used in the invitation layout, and I was not sure of the dimensions required. Having it in the vector format gave me freedom in going through few different iterations for the wedding invitation layout.

(Names and places removed to protect privacy of the client).
I converted it to PDF format and packed it away to the client.
