About KalaaLog

KalaaLog is a journal or a weblog on arts written by Vyoma.

Kalaa – is a Sanskrit based word that is used in major languages of India to relate to any form of Art – be it paintings, or performing arts like music, dance and theater.

There would be commentary on Art in general. It would showcase some artworks, from concepts to final piece. There would be an exploration of the field of arts.

Though the scope would be open for art in general, focus would be more on fine arts/visual arts – art as in sketching, drawing and painting.  The exploration in this area would be supplemented by instructional posts, reviews of books and tools, and interviews with artists.

    Hi

Thank you very much for this site.
It was very heartening that people like me who want to draw(but do not know) are shown the appropriate and a convenient way to learn.

    Thank you once again.
